  • E-Cigarettes Banned by E-Cig Bans
Many countries have already regulated, controlled, or banned, e-cigarettes at national level as part of a harm reduction approach towards protection from the potentially harmful effects of electronic cigarettes. However intensive lobbying of national decision makers and politicians by the e-cigarette industry has lead to some countries having taken no action at a national level to date. Decisions to prohibit e-cigarettes are therefore being taken at a 'local level' by individual pubs, restaurants, states, counties, villages, businesses, schools, hospitals, libraries, civic authorities etc. These articles research reports of e-cig bans, and the reasons behind the bans.
  • Electronic cigarettes - The end of an era ?
Before 2007 you couldn't go out anywhere without having to endure the smoke from tobacco smoke. A 'smoke free' law was mercifully introduced in July 2007 to end smoking indoors in public places and this law has greatly improved air quality for everyone. "I don't accept that smokers are addicted to tobacco. I think they have a habit... I believe the majority of smokers  could stop tomorrow - no, today - if they really wanted to."

Dr. Sandy Macara,
British Medical Association, 1996

"The nicotine inhalation habit induces a psychological dependency habit similar to that of a 43 year old teenager still living at home with mum and dad...

Smokers / vapers are addicted to nicotine inhalation about as much as someone might be addicted to living at home with mum and dad   - where life is made too easy for them to even think of moving out."
